Fishing Trip Photo Gallery – Backwater Guide Service
Real Moments from the Water
At Backwater Guide Service, every trip tells a story. Our gallery showcases authentic moments from recent fishing charters led by Captain Tony Grose across the waters of Saint Bernard, Louisiana. These photos are from real clients who trusted us to deliver not just fish, but a full experience on the water.
You will see images of happy anglers holding redfish and trout, boats navigating Louisiana’s scenic marshes, and guests relaxing at the onsite fishing camp after a full day on the water. This is what we offer every time we launch.
Catch Highlights from Recent Charters
Backwater Guide Service targets a range of species throughout the year. Our clients regularly land:
- Redfish with distinctive black tail spots
- Speckled Trout caught in shallow inshore waters
- Flounder and snapper brought up on light tackle
- Tripletail and cobia found in deeper nearshore rigs
- Large RIG SPECIES during seasonal runs
Each fish in our gallery is the result of a guided effort, using high-quality tackle and proven techniques. Captain Tony adjusts every trip to meet the conditions, so no two catches are ever the same.

Our Boats in Action
Our fleet is fully featured for inshore fishing across Louisiana’s coast. The lead vessel is a TRITON 240LTS powered by a high-performance engine and outfitted with fish finders, radar, safety systems, and lighting. The gallery includes photos of our boats docked, running, and out on open water during early morning and sunset trips.
Backwater Guide Service also has access to over fifteen vessels for larger group trips. These boats are consistently maintained and equipped to meet the standards of our charter operation. Each image represents the attention to detail we provide on every trip.
Life at the Fishing Camp
Our onsite fishing camp is a highlight for many guests, and you will see it throughout the gallery. From early morning coffee by the dock to sunset dinners after the catch, the camp allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the fishing experience.
The gallery includes photos of the lodging setup, deck space, kitchen area, and guests enjoying downtime between charters. Whether staying overnight or booking a weekend trip, the camp creates a relaxed and private environment for our clients.

Families, Groups, and First-Time Anglers
Fishing with Backwater Guide Service is a shared experience. Many of our guests include families with young children, groups of friends, or individuals trying fishing for the first time. Our gallery includes these moments — people learning how to cast, children landing their first fish, and groups celebrating a successful day on the water.
We welcome everyone and take pride in creating trips that are both fun and accessible. Our goal is not just a cooler full of fish, but smiles, memories, and knowledge gained along the way.
